Meet the Board
WILLIAM CULLINANE, PRESIDENT
South Pasadena resident William Cullinane is a highly respected businessman and community leader and has served as President of the following organizations: the Oneonta Club, Oneonta Club Foundation (current President), South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Organization and the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Holy Family Catholic Parish, South Pasadena. He has served on the Boards of First Foundation Bank, Pasadena Child Development Associates, and St. Vincent de Paul, Archdiocese of Los Angeles where he is the current Finance Chair. A graduate of South Pasadena schools and USC, he has been active with the Senior Citizen Foundation of South Pasadena since 2018.
MARK LANGILL, V.P. South Pasadena resident Mark Langill is the Team Historian of the Los Angeles Dodgers. A member of the front office since 1994 who has written six books about the franchise, Langill covered the ballclub as a reporter for the Pasadena Star-News between 1989 and 1993. Prior to majoring in Journalism at Pasadena City College and Cal State Northridge, he attended grades K-12 in the South Pasadena Unified School District. His grandmother, Astrid Omdal, was a longtime member of the SP Senior Center.
RICHARD HELGESON, Secretary
Dick Helgeson is an attorney with more than 45 years of legal practice experience. He is also a retired Army Colonel with over 33 years of combined active and reserve military service. Dick has a lengthy background in law, finance, economics, military science and public administration. He formerly served as General Counsel of the Port of Los Angeles and General Counsel of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and has lived in South Pasadena since 1972.
ALEXANDRIA LEVITT, Treasurer
Alexandria Levitt is a gerontologist and longtime resident of South Pasadena. She is very familiar with the many challenges facing us as we get older and the remarkable connection between health (both mental and physical) and social engagement. Her work on the Senior Commission and now the Foundation is focused on educating the community on important issues in aging and making sure our most vulnerable residents are safe. She has been a Girl Scout Leader, PTA President and served on the Senior Commission for 6 years.
PATRICK KIRCHEN
Patrick Kirchen is a resident of South Pasadena. His professional career has been in the restaurant industry, most recently with his own project, Crossings, which was located on Mission Street in South Pasadena from 2013-2019. He currently owns a wine wholesale distribution company and is also a volunteer soccer coach for Loyola High School. Prior to joining the Senior Citizens Foundation of South Pasadena’s Board, he was part of the Board of Directors for Professional Child Development Associates in Pasadena. He is excited to help build awareness of the wonderful resources the South Pasadena Senior Center provides to seniors in our community.
